Terms of Use

These terms describe use of the HomeCraftScope website and its general home-care information. Read them alongside the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

The website and these terms

HomeCraftScope publishes articles about household maintenance, small repairs, cleaning, organization, and improvements. By accessing or using the website, you agree to use it in a lawful manner and to follow these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you may stop using the website.

These terms apply to HomeCraftScope at homecraftscope.com. Mandatory consumer rights and other protections under applicable law are not excluded by these terms.

Informational content, not a professional service

Articles are general educational information, not a property inspection, professional diagnosis, repair service, engineering opinion, or emergency response. A method described for one home or product may not suit another. Check the instructions for your exact equipment and materials, local rules, lease or building requirements, and the actual conditions before acting.

You are responsible for deciding whether a task is within your skills and can be performed safely. Stop if the circumstances differ from the guide or a hazard cannot be controlled. Seek qualified local help for electrical wiring, gas, structural work, roof access, extensive contamination, and other work that requires expertise or authorization. The Disclaimer explains these limits in more detail.

Permitted use and conduct

You may read, link to, and share links to publicly available pages for personal, noncommercial reference. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, introduce malicious code, evade technical restrictions, impersonate another person, or use the site in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Do not copy or republish substantial portions of articles, images, branding, or page design as your own without permission or a legal right to do so. Brief quotation and other uses permitted by applicable law remain available. If you want to request permission for a wider reuse, contact us by email.

Ownership and illustrative images

The site’s original text, visual design, branding, and locally produced images are presented under the HomeCraftScope name. Rights in third-party names, products, linked materials, and cited sources remain with their respective owners. Some site images are illustrative generated visuals and are not records of repairs performed by HomeCraftScope.

Displaying a product name, link, or source does not mean that its owner sponsors or endorses this site. Do not remove attribution or represent our content as professional certification or a guarantee of results.

External websites and future commercial features

Articles may link to manufacturers, public agencies, or other independent websites. We do not control their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Review those sites directly before relying on them or providing information to them.

The current site has no user account, paid subscription, checkout, or affiliate links. It loads a third-party advertising script supplied by Mowplayer. If we add other commercial features, we will provide appropriate disclosures and update these terms and the privacy information.

Availability, changes, and corrections

We may correct, update, remove, or reorganize content as information or the website changes. We aim to keep links and material useful, but we do not promise that every page will always be available or error-free. Publication of a guide does not obligate us to provide one-to-one advice or a particular response time.

If you believe a page contains an error, send the page address and your concern to hello@homecraftscope.com. We may review and revise the article, but we cannot verify a specific property remotely.

Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided for general information without a promise that a particular method will be safe, suitable, complete, or successful for your circumstances. Nothing here limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, or excludes liability where doing so is prohibited.

Because home projects can involve hidden conditions and physical risks, decisions about your property remain yours. Use appropriate professional help when needed. Any question about responsibility for a specific loss depends on the facts and the law that applies.

Contact and updates to these terms

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@homecraftscope.com. We may publish revised terms on this page, with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way for the website. Last revised: October 14, 2026.
