Privacy Policy
This policy explains information associated with using homecraftscope.com and contacting HomeCraftScope, including Google Analytics and the third-party advertising script loaded by the site. It will be reviewed as services or settings change.
About this policy
This policy applies to HomeCraftScope at homecraftscope.com. Privacy questions can be directed to hello@homecraftscope.com. It describes the current static site rather than services that might be added later.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the address you use, the content of your message, any attachments, and related message details such as the time sent. We use that information to respond, consider editorial corrections, handle a privacy request, and keep a record of the correspondence where needed. Do not send sensitive details that are unnecessary for your question.
The website does not offer user accounts, comments, checkout, a newsletter signup, or a contact form. Those features do not currently collect information through this site.
Search and website requests
The article search uses an index bundled with the site and performs matching in your browser; it does not send a query to a separate search engine. Search words may appear in the page URL as a q parameter. That URL can remain in browser history, be copied into a message, or be received by the website host and third-party services loaded on the page. If Google Analytics site-search measurement is enabled, the search term may also be recorded as an analytics event.
When the site is hosted, the hosting provider may receive technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Depending on the provider and settings, this may include an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, and security or access logs. The live provider and settings will determine which of those records exist and how long they are kept.
Fonts and external requests
The site requests Inter and Manrope font files through Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google-operated services to request stylesheets and font files. Google may receive technical request information under its own policies. If the font service is unavailable, the site falls back to system fonts.
Google Tag Manager and Analytics
The site loads a Google Tag Manager container on every page to run a configured Google Analytics 4 tag. Google Analytics may record page views, visits, and interactions, depending on the published tag and data-stream settings. Requests to Google can include the page URL, browser or device information, and an IP address; Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits. We use these measurements to understand how the site is used and improve its content.
Google Tag Manager can also load other tags if they are added to the container later. We will review this policy when the published tag configuration changes. For information about Google’s processing, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Advertising, cookies, and similar technologies
Every page, including this policy and the search page, loads an advertising script from ejs2.mowplayer.com. Loading and running the script may involve your IP address, browser and device details, the page URL, and information about ad views or interactions. The advertising service and its partners may use this information to deliver ads, measure performance, detect invalid traffic, and, if enabled, tailor ads.
Mowplayer or its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or use similar identifiers, depending on their configuration and policies. Their exact recipients, technologies, and retention periods depend on the live advertising setup and have not all been confirmed by HomeCraftScope. See Mowplayer’s published privacy policy for information from that provider. We will update this page when the configuration or partners are confirmed or changed.
How information is used and shared
We use correspondence to answer questions, assess corrections, manage requests, and protect the integrity of the site. We do not sell a visitor mailing list. A search query can appear in the page URL, which a third-party script on the search page may be able to access.
Email is handled by the mailbox provider, site requests by the hosting provider, fonts by Google Fonts, analytics and tag requests by Google, and advertising script requests by Mowplayer and potentially its partners. Each processes requests under the terms of its service. We may also disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety. We will review provider-specific disclosures when their live settings are confirmed.
Retention and security
We intend to keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, including follow-up, records, or legal obligations. A specific email retention schedule has not yet been set. Access-log retention depends on the host and its settings. Google Analytics retention depends on the settings of the Analytics property, while advertising-related retention is controlled by Mowplayer and any participating partners under their arrangements and policies. We will update this section when provider-specific periods are confirmed.
No internet service or email exchange can be guaranteed completely secure. We aim to limit access to correspondence and use suitable account and provider safeguards, but visitors should avoid sending sensitive details by ordinary email.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to email us and can use the site without an account. You can use browser settings to manage history, caching, cookies, and some external-service requests. Blocking font requests may change typography but should not prevent you from reading the articles. Blocking analytics or advertising scripts may affect measurement or ad display. The site does not currently offer a site-level analytics or advertising preference panel.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or object to certain handling of personal information. Send a request to hello@homecraftscope.com. We will evaluate it under applicable law and may ask for information needed to verify it. If you are unsatisfied, you may have the right to contact a relevant privacy regulator.
Children, changes, and contact
The website provides general household information and is not designed as a service for children. It has no child accounts or child-directed submission feature. If we learn that an email contains information about a child that we do not need, we will review an appropriate response under applicable law.
We may revise this policy when site practices change. A new version will be posted on this page with an updated date; material changes will be explained in an appropriate way for the service. For privacy questions, contact hello@homecraftscope.com. Last revised: October 14, 2026.
